Upcycling

Empty jars

The term “upcycling” refers to the act of taking something that is no longer used and giving it a second life by re-purposing it. Upcycling is the opposite of “downcycling” (what is best known as “recycling”) which is the process by which a material is transformed into something else, usually through conversion or extraction.

Given our commitment to environmental sustainability we are conscious of the environmental impacts that our packaging has, and would like to promote the creative re-use of our glass mason jars in meaningful ways. To assist with this, we’ve even selected thermal labels that peel off easily. Check back here to explore new ideas on how to breath new life into our packaging through upcycling.
