In terms of quantity, the United States exports of pickles represent 48% of the total quantity imported by Canada. India follows with 20%, Greece and China (5% each), Mexico (3%), Turkey (2.6%), Poland (2.5%), Spain (1.9%), Lebanon (1.6%), Egypt (1.2%), Germany (1.1%), and Italy (0.8%). This makes it very important to continue to “Buy Canadian” whenever possible.
The good news is that from a “Made in Canada” perspective, the majority of elements that make up our products are Canadian made, and we source from local Ottawa companies as much as possible. For example:

In response to the ongoing tariff situation we are continuing to closely monitor our suppliers and address potential supply chain and/or supply cost vulnerabilities. Where possible, we will transition away from goods subject to tariffs in order to keep costs low and avoid passing price increases along to the consumer.
