Most would say that the perfect side dish doesn’t exist, but these Miso Parmesan Potatoes might change that. This recipe is incredibly simple to prepare and is the perfect accompaniment to virtually any protein-based dish. The mashed potatoes are silky and savory, with just the right amount of texture. The added white miso takes them to another levels and puts a delicious spin on this classic side.

- Assemble equipment: large pot, grater, potato masher, measuring cups and spoons. Wash and cube potatoes (unpeeled), grate cheese, chop dill, measure and separate all ingredients. Cooking and Assembly
- Add cubed potatoes to a large pot of salted water and bring to a boil. Cook for 10-15 minutes until soft and tender. Drain and set aside.
- Add butter to the pot and saute garlic for 2 minutes over medium heat.
- Return potatoes to pot with butter. Mash well, then add in remaining ingredients and stir until smooth.
