For as long as we can remember it has been a tradition of ours to gather with good friends and family on Christmas Eve to celebrate the holiday season. This goes way back to our teenage years when an annual trip to Uncle Art and Aunt Billie’s house was the main attraction. There was always a huge pot of homemade chili on the stove, as well as a lot of laughs.
As our children have grown, this has evolved into somewhat of a sophisticated adult event, complete with a seasonally inspired menu and signature beverages. With some of our friends, this tradition now dates back over 10 years and is something we cherish.
This year interest grew and we hosted over 25 guests! Friends brought friends and more family and moms and dads which was absolutely amazing. As usual, it was a fantastic opportunity to eat some great food and catch up and celebrate the holidays. Something that we don’t have enough time to do anymore.
