Bacon Lollipops

This one holds a special place in our hearts because it’s what could be called our first “formal” dinner party. Sure, we had hosted other get togethers with friends and family, but this was the first time that we put a lot of focus and energy on the experience.

In many ways we tried to emulate some of the cool restaurant experiences we had had. From the table settings complete with personalized name plates, to the unique “tasting menu”, to the wine pairings, we put extra thought into everything.

And in the end, it all paid off! Our guests were delighted and the entire evening went off without a hitch.

Over the coming weeks and months we will be adding all of the recipes that we’ve used – like our Champagne Mushroom Risotto and Roasted Butternut Squash Soup (aka ton kha gai) – to our recipe collection. Check back often!
